Our Story
My sister and I decided to start Cheeky Kids Cook because our mom always taught us to eat nutritious foods that positively impact our health. We know that there is a connection between eating well, how we feel, and how we perform in life. We noticed that some of our friends don’t even consider nutrition as a factor in their health. Kids tend to watch television commercials that promote unhealthy food choices that may look and taste good, but wreak havoc on our health. Kids must consider the damaging impact poor food choices, like chips, have on their health. Cheeky kids cook is a website devoted to teaching kids how they can prepare and cook healthy, nutritious foods using gluten-free, nutrient-dense, organic ingredients. This can be done by swapping out unhealthy ingredients with healthy ones. How does making a strawberry milkshake from scratch sound without milk but using a healthy, creamy alternative? We even go as far as changing our Nana’s spaghetti pie recipe with a gluten-free alternative that tastes just as great. Cheeky kids foods is a place where kids can have fun in the kitchen and be bold enough to try new and improved ways of eating to feel their best.
